Biography

Perry Ruta is currently in his 5th year of study in the Pennsylvania State University Architectural Engineering program. In May 2019, he will graduate with a Bachelors of Architectural Engineering, with a specific focus in construction management. During his time at Penn State, Perry Ruta has been involved with professional and student organizations including the Student Society of Architectural Engineers and LifeLink PSU.

During Perry’s time as a student he has been able to gain valuable experience in the construction industry. Through his two internships with Clark Construction Perry has gained valuable knowledge and experience with the management of subcontractors, scheduling, and MEP coordination. This past summer’s internship challenged Perry with managing over ten floors of construction which allowed him to grow as a scheduler, manager, and communicator. Following graduation, Perry hopes to attain a position with a general contractor that will allow him to continue down a path of growth and development in the construction industry.

Outside of school and work Perry enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing organized sports, attending sporting events, visiting national parks, and traveling abroad.
